Chicago ABSW in partnership with the Woodlawn Resource Center and other community agencies provided back to school items and other resources to community members.
A community workshop focusing on the critical role of doulas in supporting Black birthing people. The discussion will highlight the importance and impact of doulas in improving Black birth outcomes, as well as a breakdown of Illinois' new Medicaid policy covering doula services.
This event is a solutions-focused gathering to confront and address disproportionality in the child welfare system, bringing together providers, advocates, and agency leaders for equity in Black child and family well-being.
